In Bedulu Village, 26 kms from Denpasar, there is a ruin of ancients Balinese palace complex, complate with a huge cave for hermitage. The cave used to be a medidation site for Hindhu and Buddhist monks, dating back to the 11th century, The frightening demon head was carved out of the caves rock face, while inside the cave can be seen a god statue with elephant head "Ganesha" at west end, and "Tri Lingga" statue at the caves east end ( the cave is "T" shaped ) Two bathing places at the cave's yard have got six nymph statues, each holding a water fountain on its umbilicus, as symbol of the six holy river in India.
